Hi, All:

For those of you who attended our May meeting, launching our Aging Series with Christine Herbes Summers’ film, “What Time Is Left,” we wish to thank you all for such a great turn out, your enthusiasm, and your candid comments on the subject of Death Literacy with Caren Martineau (Bivival.com).

We thank you for your patience with all the difficult logistics in showing the film (sound and rehearsing dancers above!).

For those of you who missed out on the film, contact me and I will arrange showings for groups of four, privately! Caren Martineau will also include it in her August film series, “Dying To Know.”

As we said in May, we are developing a questionnaire for you all to answer and comment on re: the topics to be covered in fall workshops on Death Literacy. I believe we will post this questionnaire with replies made to Caren and myself via mail!

We are looking for four to six of you to help plan these workshops, as they are tailored for our groups needs, so input is crucial. Please note that this workshop is separate from our monthly events and is only for those who wish to partake.

If you missed our May event, please show up for our June event for more information or contact me, Sheila, at vp@ucwn.org. Members only!

Let’s get our aging bodies and minds in better shape while we can! Leslie will start us off! See you at Catskill Visitors Center on June 13.
