Every member of UCWN over the last two years has benefitted from the organizational skills that Leslie Snow brought to UCWN to take it to the next level combining social fun and connection with programming that our members suggested and enjoyed. “We the Women” are collaborating to continue the kinds of conversations that began with sewing circles that led to the Women’s Right To Vote, Abolition of Slavery and Inclusiveness in Governing at grass roots levels with the view point of a woman‘s lens and experience. Connection to like-minded women is affirming and exposure to new talents, ideas and possibilities through arts, culture, talented speakers and motivational, health and wellness topics are extraordinarily important during the new Covid era, and Leslie did the heavy lifting of shifting and pivoting UCWN to meet the new needs of members. Her collaborative style set the high water mark where walking the talk is what she embodies and her orientation to detail and effectiveness, reliability, straightforward feedback and kind, gentle, compassionate balance for the caring of all our members makes her outstanding in all she does. We as members of UCWN are all touched by her grace and abilities. There is an invitational call for appreciative comments to UCWN (info@UCWN.org) for your individual thoughts on what UCWN has meant to you, what you have enjoyed as a member and what you wish to say to thank Leslie Snow for her volunteering to keep UCWN alive and well during a challenging time. Thank you. This is YOUR organization. Our gratitude is all of you as members and cultivating an appreciative atmosphere for all of us to feel uplifted. Thank you for making the time to thoughtfully thank Leslie Snow.
Onward,
Gloria Waslyn, President UCWN
