We need to see each other’s faces once again!
Please join UCWN and Victoria Coyne for a hybrid event at

Victoria Gardens
in Rosendale, NY, on
Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from
6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

This event is dedicated to Melody Newcombe, founder of Ulster County Women’s Network, who passed away April 4, 2022. We will toast her and her love of plants and flowers, the planet, and all of you at the beautiful Victoria Gardens!

Owner Victoria Coyne has been operating her gardening and landscape business for over 30 years. She will speak about her favorite spring plants, how she uses them in the landscape, and what their needs are. Her presentations are packed with people eager for her gardening wisdom about the smallest houseplant to the largest creative landscape projects!

Victoria will inspire you to get your hands dirty and nurture a living entity. If you already love gardening, learn how to do it better! “Her nursery and gift shop is my happy place to hang!” said Sheila Gould, UCWN VP. “Trust me, you are in for a treat!”

Please show up and bring your friends! In honor of Melody, this is a free event! Please plant something in her honor this spring!

About Victoria

Victoria Coyne has been passionate about plants since a young child. Gardening alongside her mother and her grandmother, Victoria learned early to love plants and gardening. Victoria attended Ulster Community College, graduating with a degree in Applied Science in Ornamental Horticulture. Victoria Gardens was founded in 1986; at that point they designed, installed, and maintained landscapes. In 2003 Victoria, along with her husband Wayne Waddell, bought their current location in Rosendale. After taking on a giant renovation of what they affectionately called their “hole in the roof,” they expanded the business to include a retail shop and nursery.
