A Conversation with Ellen Messer

The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged the work world to adapt so we can keep businesses alive and profitable.  As we look to the end of this pandemic year and move into 2021, considering our post-pandemic work lives leaves us with more questions than answers.

What will and what won’t go back to the way it was? Who will continue to work from home? Why or why not? What are the advantages and disadvantages of working from home? And how do we focus on the people, our colleagues who work with us?

Some questions concern the issues already present in the workplace in person that carry over to the work-from-home culture, including:

—   How can we maintain meaningful social interactions from home?

— What roles do teams play and how do we keep team players engaged?

— How can we have productive meetings with follow-up and accountability?

— How can we work with generational differences and communication preferences, e-mail, texts, voice?

— How can we navigate across new and emerging platforms with agility and agree on which to use for what purpose?

— What new skills will be vital as we transition to post-Covid work settings?

Join us for a conversation on what the world of work may look like in 2021.
