From Ashokan Rail Trail to Pollinator Pathways
Join us on Zoom to hear Maxanne Resnick, Executive Director, Woodstock Land Conservancy, share a brief history of the making of the Ashokan Rail Trail, its present popularity and its inclusion as part of a larger Ulster County Trail Network, which will include the NYS Empire Rail Trail Network. This is a great way to hear about the work of the Land Conservancy and how you can get involved. Learn what is happening in our area to keep and enhance our beautiful natural surroundings and get tips on how you can get out and enjoy the many offerings benefiting from the work of our citizens.

Prior to that, Ms. Resnick worked at Solar Generation, served on the Onteora School Board, and co-owned the Phoenicia Times and Olive Press newspapers. Her New York City professional experience includes roles in government, fundraising, and several entrepreneurial ventures. If you’re not ready to join UCWN ($25 annual fee, rolling basis), you can attend this event for a nominal fee of $5.00 to help defray some organization expenses, including our Zoom subscription fees. N.B.: Members must login with their user name and password to attend for free. For problems logging in email admin@ucwn.org.
We encourage members and non-members who do not already use Zoom to download the Zoom app onto their computer (preferred), iPad, or smartphone. It is free of charge to obtain from the App Store.
Those who do not feel comfortable downloading the app may still join the event by telephone. The Phone Numbers to Call into the conference event (audio only) will be listed on the Zoom registration confirmation, which will also contain the Zoom meeting ID # and password. This will be sent to you as soon as you register with Zoom.
We hope you’ll join this webinar so you can continue to engage with other UCWN members and friends while continuing to practice physical distancing as required to keep us safe.
