Judith Kerman’s new book of poems, Definitions, was published by Fomite Press of Brattleboro, Vermont, in May 2021. She will be in conversation with poet and novelist Eleanor Lerman about the book and their literary friendship. Judy will share a few poems and answer questions.
She has published ten prior collections of poetry, most recently Aleph, broken: Poems from My Diaspora (Broadstone Books, 2016), as well as three books of translations of Cuban and Dominican women’s poetry and fiction.
Kerman was a Fulbright Scholar in the Dominican Republic in 2002. A retired university professor and administrator, she founded Earth’s Daughters magazine in Buffalo, NY (1971 to present) and runs Mayapple Press, located in Woodstock, NY.
