LIVING WELL IN ULSTER COUNTY…. thanks to dynamic duo: Sheila Gould and Jerilyn Babroff who organized this event at Savonna’s Next Door restaurant in Kingston. The UCWN members and guests learned the answers to: What support structures exist for us in Ulster County? What is SSIP, Live-Well Kingston? What is the NY State-Wide Senior Action Council? What support, if and when you need it, is available from your county office? What are your options for staying in a rural area or heading to bigger cities in our county? These answers were provided by the engaging and passionate guest speaker, Kelly McMullen, M.A., Director, Ulster County Office for the Aging. She was passionate about our “longevity” citizens in Ulster! She opened hearts and minds on a subject that concerns all of us. UCWN wishes to thank our dynamic speaker, Kelly for her long history in public service and sharing that knowledge with our membership.
