Gloria Waslyn, a member of the UCWN since she moved to Ulster County from Manhattan 10 years ago, has volunteered and has been voted in as Vice President. Gloria also serves as social media maven and blog coordinator and historian/documentary photographer. She resides in Ruby, a hamlet in the Town of Ulster, and is a professional career and communications coach and consultant. President of Parrots For Peace, a not-for-profit organization advocating for social and environmental justice with a family of blue and gold macaws. She is on the board of Boughton Place in Highland, a cultural event center, former board member and now on the fundraising committee for Childrens Home of Kingston and is a committee member of the Ulster County Democratic Party. She is a former board member of the Professional Women’s Photographers and has curated many art exhibits and mutli-arts festivals.
