We need your help. I, as president, don’t know what else to do but to ask you what you would do. We need you, members and friends of UCWN, to offer your time and energy to serve on the Advisory Committee and act as part of a dynamic duo to suggest, plan, and execute events. We want this organization to continue.
We have incentives.
If you serve a full term on the Advisory Committee, we’ll give you a one-year membership. For both members and friends, if you organize an event as a dynamic duo, you can attend for free.
Our dynamic duo system gives you opportunities to develop your social life. Forge new friendships by working closely with a partner to produce a UCWN Event.
The Advisory Committee needs people willing and able to learn new technical skills. Learning is intellectually stimulating! We need someone to handle the email blasts using MailChimp, someone to administer the Facebook page, a treasurer, a secretary, and a president. I, Leslie, step down from these roles at the end of September; everyone else on the committee has already served full terms.
When the emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, spiritual, and physical dimensions of our lives are fully developed and integrated, optimal well-being, healthy aging, and a zest for living results. Ulster County Women’s Network, like women’s groups for the past century, offers you these opportunities; you have but to take them.
